When Grand Theft Auto 6 eventually launches, it will be intriguing to see how it ties into GTA 5. If Trevor is among them, actor Steven Ogg has an idea for how his character could be used. In an interview with Screen Rant, Ogg suggested that it “would be fun” for Trevor to show up only to be killed off at the start of the game. This could serve as a callback to GTA 5, where one of Trevor’s early actions is eliminating a playable character from a previous GTA installment.

The only confirmed details from the first GTA 6 trailer are that one of the main character is a woman named Lucia, who resides in Leonida. For those unfamiliar, Leonida is the GTA universe’s version of Florida, which includes the infamous Vice City, a location heavily inspired by Miami.
In the year since the first GTA 6 trailer debuted online, very few additional details have been revealed. We still don’t know the name of the male character shown in the trailer, and Rockstar has given no hints as to when the second trailer will be released. Without any official updates from Rockstar Games regarding when more information about GTA 6 will be shared, fans have begun speculating wildly about the potential release date for Trailer 2. These theories are often proven wrong, but with GTA 6 targeting a fall 2025 release, it’s only a matter of time before the next trailer drops.
